Miranda Lambert "The House That Built Me" Music Video

It's no secret that I'm a diehard Miranda Lambert fan :) It's amazing to me how much talent and musical growth can be seen from her first to third albums. At the same time, she manages to keep a genuine originality to her work and a respect from her fans for not straying from who she is as a person and as a performer. Her latest album, Revolution, is by far one of my favorite CD's of all time. Like a vinyl record, I can put Revolution in the CD player and listen to it, start to finish, without wanting to skip a song, a rare quality found in any genre with some of todays' artists. The power and level of thought found in the lyrics of the songs on this CD baffle me as to why Lambert isn't cleaning house with songwriting awards. Honestly, I think the songs are so well versed, written and compiled that they're too far over the general listeners head. For example: The third song on the album, Dead Flowers, was released to radio and what we call the "industry" made it out to be the "next big thing". Truth be told, it was and should have been. Why wasn't it? It was too deep of an emotion for the everyday Joe to care about. It was simple on the surface but carried such a complex thought that at the end of the day, the song was "dropped" from most playlists because it was considered too sad; I mean...who wants to think about dead flowers anyway right? I digress :) Her latest single, "The House That Built Me", is my favorite from the album and is moving on up the charts (with your help...keep the love coming). Miranda exclusively released the video to Itunes this week and, naturally, I had to buy it and naturally, I love it :) If you too are a proclaimed "RanFan" I suggest you check it out here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/video/the-house-that-built-me/id364086182If you're an exploratory fan and not sure whether to love her or hate her, check out her website here: http://www.mirandalambert.comHope ya all enjoy my ranting, raving and love for Miranda :) Have a good one :)
